Work as electrician or electro professional in Norway?

Chang e in the regulation for electrical enterprises and qualification requirements for work related to electrical installations and electrical equipment (fek) – introduction of a fee

From 1 January 2025, a fee of NOK 3200 will be introduced for processing applications for approval to exercise the regulated electro professions in Norway.

The fee applies both to the processing of applications for the approval of professional qualifications when establishing in Norway, and to the pre-check of professional qualifications in notifications of temporary provision of service. 

If you apply for approval to practice several professions in Norway, the fee for the others is NOK 2400.
