DSB is a programme partner for the domestic affairs programme sector. The program operator is the Romanian Ministry of the Interior.
The programme aims to strengthen civil society and protect citizens – an important element for an inclusive and resilient society.
The program covers three areas:
- Asylum and migration
- International police cooperation and work against crime
- Disaster Prevention and Preparedness
Of greatest interest to DSB is strengthened cooperation between relevant Romanian and Norwegian actors in areas of disaster prevention and preparedness.
Man-made events and natural disasters are increasing as a result of climate change, rapid urbanisation, demographic pressures and more intensive use of land. Ensuring effective strategies for regional and national preparedness and emergency planning is a priority for national authorities. The programme will help strengthen resilience and crisis preparedness.

DSB is a programme partner for the programme for Climate Change and Climate Adaptation. The programme operator is the Slovak Ministry of the Environment.
The programme deals with the climate field in its entirety; both reduction of greenhouse gases and adaptation to climate change. The programme aims to strengthen resilience to climate change and resilience within targeted areas, as well as improve the ability of targeted ecosystems to adapt to climate change.
