Correct installation of the trampoline:
- Follow the instructions for use when setting up the trampoline. Ask in the store where you bought the trampoline, if there is anything you are unsure about.
- Check and test the trampoline after assembly. Make sure the straps, fasteners, and edge pad are properly attached.
- Place the trampoline on a flat surface, preferably one that has some shock-absorbing effect, such as a lawn.
- Leave plenty of space above and around the trampoline.
- Secure the trampoline to the ground if there is a risk that the wind can grab it.
- Use a safety net and padding/edge mat around the trampoline.
Correct use of trampoline:
- Define clear rules for the number of children at the same time on the trampoline. The ideal is only one. The more people who jump, the greater the risk of injury. This is especially true if those who jump have different weights.
- Adults should assess children's skills and pay attention when children jump.
- Cover the trampoline with a tarpaulin when not in use. This makes it more difficult for children to use the trampoline without adults present.
- Do not jump on the trampoline when it is wet.
- Somersaults on the trampoline can cause serious neck injury if you land incorrectly.
