Attach lamp and cord
Think about your child's safety when installing lamps in the children's room. Also, be sure to follow the warnings and operating instructions that come with the lamps. In children's rooms, you should use lamps that are attached to the wall. This will prevent the children from tearing them down or playing with them.
Advice for safe installation of lamps:
- Place lamps with loose wires at least one metre from the cot or playpen.
- Check that loose wires are securely attached to the wall and out of reach of your child.
- Make sure that lamps that can be put on or covered, such as desk lamps and bedside lamps, have a low surface temperature.
