It is illegal for companies to carry out electrical work without being registered in the Register of Electrical Enterprises. It is your duty to check that the company you hire is listed in the register.

What you can find in the register
In the Register of Electrical Enterprises, you will find all businesses, including sole proprietorships, that are allowed to carry out electrical work in Norway. You can also see what types of electrical work they can do.
It is the name of the enterprise, for example Hansen Elektro AS, that is listed in the register. The register also contains contact information.
